Veggies and Hummus is a go-to healthy snack that I have a few times a week.  Try this twist on traditional hummus the next time you reach for a snack and top your hummus with even more veggies.  Add diced cucumber, tomato, sweet corn or grilled corn, black olives or basil!  Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

This way, you can turn this satisfying whole food snack into more of a meal, and it doesn't seem as plain anymore now, does it!


Serve this up with carrot and cucumber wedges instead of chips, or enjoy your favorite warm multigrain pita sliced into triangles.
