A massaged kale salad?

 What the heck is that?!


When  you “massage” kale with a bit of water and sea salt, the leaves wilt and soften, making kale more delicious, especially for those who find it to be bitter.

After I remove the kale from the stems, I break it up into pieces using my hands and place in a bowl.

Option 1: Massage the kale with a sprinkle (or use a mister) of olive oil and sea salt and massage the kale with your hands – the kale will soften and begin to wilt. Then mix in your favorite veggies!  

Option 2: Massage the kale with lemon juice and sea salt and drizzle with a creamy avocado green goddess dressing, or just mash/whip some avocado in a bowl and mix it in.

I added peppers, tomato, chick peas and some avocado.

Note: you can also just use water and sea salt, and not use olive oil, this was just my preference that particular day.
